3 TIPS TO MAKE A SMALL BATHROOM FEEL LUXURIOUS





Let me share 3 quick tips to make a small bathroom feel luxurious. Small bathrooms don't have to be dull, boring and unattractive. They can have as much impact on you depending on the way you want to feel in and around your bathroom. Personally, my goal are not only to make your dream become reality with your desired design but I pride myself in making your environment feel a way that is not only visually stimulating but also inspiring to the soul. My gal Chantelle @clarke.andco who I recently collaborated with on her Small En-suite Bathroom with 3D renderings, has a similar philosophy. Chantelle renovated her Small dated 80's bathroom and turned it into a Luxurious Small Bathroom.


In the 3D Photo-Realistic Renders I will show & share the 3 things I look to first when making a small bathroom amazingly luxe.

A question often asked is, ‘what is it like working with a designer?’. 1. MATERIALS


When working in a small space not just in bathrooms, the main focus should be about the vibe. In this case, our focus is a luxury vibe which are my favorite touches to add, by the way. To achieve that, we need quality materials. I know, many of people often rely on marble being the "thing" that makes all things feel luxury. But trust me...its more than just marble material out there. My favorite thing to do is use an array beautiful textures, patterns or sophisticated color ranges to make it all happen. THE DESIGN GENIE™ rule of thumb is to ensure you have a smooth surface + rough texture + contrast in shape, size, color or heights in the space = luxurious environment.

SMOOTH + ROUGH + CONTRAST = LUXE


2. lighting


Lighting is quite fun to work with as there are SO many choices when choosing luxury light fixtures. In a small bathroom where you want that luxurious vibe, you can go with an extravagant look or even the opposite a go with a standard simple modern fixture with a shiny metal finish or matte one but keep it sophisticated.





3. accessories

When adding accessories to make your small bathroom a luxurious one, less is more in this size of space. I say stick to 4-5 loose piece max in a small space...everything else CAN and SHOULD be stored away out of sight and out of mind if it doesn't enhance the space for that luxurious vibe. Again, still keep in mind my rule of thumb SMOOTH + ROUGH + CONTRAST = LUXE
